Lunar Rescue didn’t simmer for a year. First commit: February 3, 2026. By the 15th I had a privacy policy, App Store assets, and a game you could fly end to end.

What actually landed when

Days 1–2 were Matter.js, landing score, and the first Cursor agent PRs. Then landing-pad feel, EAS, dust particles. Hangar and the neon hologram look showed up around day 5. Audio and thruster sound around day 8. Game Center and adaptive quality on day 9. The last stretch was polish, Metro stubs for web export, and the privacy policy.

Fifty-eight commits. Some of them are named “various.” I’m fine with that.

What I refused to build

No custom engine. No level editor. No CMS for this site. The lander is procedural Skia paths instead of a sprite pipeline. These posts are Markdown files in the repo. Scope was the feature, not the scaffolding around it.

A clear loop helped more than any productivity tip: land, rescue, climb, upgrade. “Space game” is a trap. “Rescue five people on one battery” is a schedule.
